Gorgeous and rare two tone Van Briggle pot in excellent condition. This style may be listed as a jardiniere vase.
The body is maroon and the raised leaf pattern (no stem) around the shoulder is accented with dark blue-green. We believe this is the Mulberry glaze, so we' estimate this piece to be from the 1920s-30s.
Typical shellacked base with symbol and name/city in caps: VAN BRIGGLE COLO. SPGS. No finisher number or initials.
Condition: This piece has no chips, cracks, crazing, or glaze pops. A couple tiniest penciling marks if held up to the light and a few spots of slightly darker glaze, likely from manufacturing/firing (as shown in photos).
